He has been instrumental in financing one of the largest medical device trials in the U.S. He currently is Chairman of R7 Capital Ventures Ltd. A venture fund that helps bring outside the box thinking to companies looking to get listed on the Canadian exchanges. He has personally raised over 100 Million over the last few years for early to mid-stage companies in the health, technology and mining sectors.
Rasool Verjee – Director
Mr. Verjee is an opportunistic serial entrepreneur with a depth of experience in telecommunications, technology and an extensive diverse global network. He holds degrees in Law from Cambridge University. His career has been marked by early adoption of emerging technologies delivering high returns on equity from start-up operations as evidenced by Telemagix, Canada’s first interactive Information service; Telepersonals that went on to become LavaLife Inc: North America’s leading provider of phone and online Dating Services. Also, World Phone Inc. that partnered with Tier One carriers including AT&T, Teleglobe Canada and Codetel generating over 10,000,000 minutes a month of International Audiotex Voice traffic, Atlas Telecom Network a leader in Wholesale VOIP Termination.
Dr. Suhill Samji – Director
Dr. Samji has been in practice for over 20 years. He completed 2 years of his undergraduate degree at the University of British Columbia, after which, based on his academic performance was bestowed the honor of admission to the prestigious Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. Dr. Samji is a member in good standing with the B.C. College of Chiropractors which is the sole regulatory authority in British Columbia. Dr. Samji further expanded on his thirst for knowledge and higher education by immersing himself in a 3-year postgraduate study of the subspecialty of Chiropractic Neurology.
Dr. Samji is a Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Neurology Board having studied under Professor Carrick of the Carrick Institute in the USA. The DACNB designation earned by Dr. Samji, is one he shares with only 600 professionals worldwide. Dr. Samji’s office is conveniently located on the northwest corner of East Broadway and Commercial Drive. His clinic offers Chiropractic, Physiotherapy, Registered Massage Therapy, Acupuncture, and has a Pain Medicine Specialist M.D.
Mouane Sengsavang LLB – Director
Miss Sengsavang holds the position of Secretary of Two Owls Ventures Corp. and Secretary of HooXi Network, Inc. She is also Member of British Columbia Bar Association, Principal at Buttonwood Law Corp. and Member of Ontario Bar Association. In her past career she held the position of Associate for Miller Thomson LLP, Associate of Burstall Winger Zammit LLP, Secretary for The Wonderfilm Media Corp., Secretary for Tulox Resources, Inc., Secretary of Avagenesis Corp. and Secretary for Avapecia Life Sciences Corp. Ms. Sengsavang received an undergraduate degree and a graduate degree from the University of British Columbia.
Mark Luchinski – Director
Mark holds degrees in Biochemistry & Microbiology from University of Victoria and an Associates degree in Chemistry from Camosun College in British Columbia.
Mr. Luchinski is an experienced board member, having served as an officer/ director of many TSX Venture listed issuers. He is well versed in corporate governance – compliance and the administration of publicly traded companies.
John Bossio – Advisor to the Board
Mr. Bossio is a registered psychologist, having received a master of arts in counselling psychology from City University, Bellevue, Wash., in 2002 and a bachelor of science in family studies from the University of Alberta, Edmonton, in 1991. He is a member of both the Psychologists Association of Alberta and College of Alberta Psychologists. He is an avid investor and experienced board member. He has a network of contacts specializing in small-cap, publicly traded companies.
